Returns

We require an RMA Number on every order that is returned and meets the requirements that are set forth. If you return a product without an RMA number, we cannot issue any type of credit or refund. You will have to pay for the product to ship back to you as well. 

Upon Delivery: Inspect all packages for any sign of damage.

If none: Sign for Delivery and accept.

If damages are evident follow the steps below:

  1. Note the damages on Delivery Report before signing and receiving the merchandise. Do not reject the shipment.
  2. Contact and notify Watsons’ Backyard Living at info@watsonsbackyardliving.com or 1-855-410-0060 of damages or concerns within 5 business days delivery.
  3. Provide photos (damages to product, outer box & packing material) to info@watsonsbackyardliving.com. Please include your order number and a description of the damages. Save the packing material.
  4. For freight shipments it is also wise to write “Not inspected for concealed damage” on the paperwork before accepting the merchandise.

FedEx claims are usually resolved within 14 business days. All claims that involve freight shippers may take up to 120 calendar days to resolve. We will do our best to accommodate all requests for replacement goods prior to the shipper resolving the claim but we do not guarantee this for every shipment.

Please Note: ALL LTL DELIVERIES ARE CURBSIDE. By signing the Delivery Report with no notes of damages you are accepting the goods as in good condition. All reports must be made within 5 business days of delivery. We cannot file claims with the shipper after this time period, and unfortunately you will be responsible for repairs or replacements. 

  1. The customer who purchased the items needs to contact us at info@watsonsbackyardliving.com or 1-855-410-0060 and report the damage. Please provide the order number.
  2. The customer will need to send images of the damage to info@watsonsbackyardliving.com. Once you send the images, please call 1-855-410-0060 and advise us that you just sent the images so that the email does not go unseen.
  3. In the event that you ordered more than one of the same product, please provide the model number and serial number off the damaged item. This information can also be emailed to info@watsonsbackyardliving.com. If you need to fax information, our fax number is 334-521-7297.

At Watsons’ Backyard Living, we want you to enjoy and love any product you purchase from us. If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer our “45 Day No Hassle” Return Policy. Any new, unused, unassembled and resalable items that are in their original packaging can be returned within 45 days of delivery for a refund minus shipping costs (original and return). If you are returning your item because of an error created by Watsons’ Backyard Living, you will not be responsible for return shipping costs.

If you are returning your item due to a product defect or damage, we will first work with you to get your item repaired.  We will replace the product if a repair is not possible.

We require an RMA number to be provided by Watsons’ Backyard Living to receive credit for the returned item(s). Please call 1-855-410-0060 to obtain an RMA number.

We may require you to take a picture of your item before you ship it back to us, especially if you are shipping your item via a freight truck. This precaution allows us to identify any further damage to a product that may occur during its trip back to us.

Before shipping back any items, please ensure that they are clean, in the original packaging and that the packaging is such that it will help prevent any damage. Please also annotate any defects or damage along with the photos you have taken prior to shipping.

In order for your item to be eligible for our “45 Day No Hassle” return policy, please note:

  • Your items must be sent back within 45 days of delivery.
  • Your returned item(s) must reference your RMA number.
  • Items MUST be in new, unassembled and resalable condition. We also highly request that your items are in their original packaging.
  • Costs of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • You have the option of requesting an exchange for the item or that you get a refund for your purchase amount.
  • There are certain items that do not qualify for a refund. These items include gift certificates, items marked as “non-returnable” and clearance items.
  • All refunds will be applied to the same payment type used in the original purchase transaction or we’ll provide you with a store credit.
  • Refunds may not be processed until the item has been returned and inspected. Refunds are processed within 48 hours of receipt of the item.

Watsons’ Backyard Living reserves the right to deny a refund if any one of the conditions below exists:

  • If the item returned doesn’t match up with the item originally shipped to the customer.
  • If the returned item is missing any parts.
  • If the returned item is damaged due to improper handling and/or packaging.
  • If the item returned was used.
  • If the item being returned has been assembled in a way that makes it difficult to package for return shipping.

Shipping & Delivery

Typically in stock items ship within 1-3 business days of when the order is received. If the item(s) you have ordered is back ordered, you will be contacted and notified of an estimated time of availability provided by our vendor. You will be notified by email upon shipment of your order and will be provided a tracking number.

Once an order has been placed, it can be changed as long as the item hasn't shipped from our warehouse. To find out if an item has shipped, please contact info@watsonsbackyardliving.com or 1-855-410-0060 to discuss options.

If the order has already been shipped from our warehouse, you must wait for the item(s) to reach their destination, accept the delivery and contact us by email to obtain either an REA or RMA Number. The customer is responsible for paying for return shipping to our warehouse. There also may be additional shipping charges if you wish to exchange the item you ordered for another.

All products exchanged must be in new, unassembled and resalable condition and MUST be in the original packaging. 

Not all products are stocked in our Auburn, Alabama, warehouse. Some products ship from other warehouses throughout the US.

It truly depends on what type of item you’ve purchased. Smaller sized items such as Grill Covers, Tool Sets and Doors will be placed at your door. Larger sized items such as BBQ Grills, pizza ovens and vent hoods will be delivered curbside. Most of our items require a signature upon delivery. To find out if your order requires a signature, please call the shipping carrier and provide your tracking number. FedEx will attempt delivery a total 3 times before returning your items to the warehouse. The freight company will contact you to schedule a delivery time window in the event you are unavailable upon the first delivery attempt. 

Orders totaling $499.00 or more ship free to the continental US. Orders with a Sub-Total of $498.99 or less will be charged actual freight costs. 

No, at this time we do not have the ability to overnight any orders.

If the product is returned because the shipper could not reach the customer, this will be considered a return, and the order will be subject to our regular return policies.

Billing

  • Only orders that are being shipped and billed to Alabama will have to pay a 4% state tax rate.

  • Lee County, Alabama, residents are also required to pay an additional 5% in city and county sales taxes.

  • If your order is being shipped and billed to any state other than Alabama, you will not have to pay sales tax.
